Scholarships

All candidates are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships based on their admissions application. Criteria includes academic record, professional promise, and focus. You will be notified by Student Affairs if you have been selected for a GSM scholarship.

Dean’s Scholarships and MM Fellowships and Graduate School of Management Grants (up to $12,000)

The Graduate School of Management offers limited awards based on merit. Factored into consideration are leadership experience, as well as academic and professional accomplishments. The Admissions Committee considers candidates for these awards at the time of admission.  No separate scholarship application is required.

UC and CSU Alumni Grant (up to $9,000)

The UC and CSU Alumni Fellowship is for applicants who have received their undergraduate from a University of California or California State University campus. The Admissions Committee considers candidates for these awards at the time of admission.  No separate scholarship application is required. 

Military Applicants

We are committed to making merit scholarship and financial aid available to qualified military personnel. We offer the following to U.S. military and former U.S. military personnel:

Awards up to $6,000 for tuition expenses not covered by the Post-9/11 GI Bill to up to two eligible UC Davis Graduate School of Management students; with this Veterans Affairs (VA) will match that amount dollar for dollar. For more information, please visit the Military Applicants webpage.

UC Davis Staff Immediate Family Scholarship Program

In recognition of the service given to the people of California, the Graduate School of Management is piloting the following scholarship program available to UC Davis immediate family members (spouse, legal domestic partner, biological or adopted child, stepchild).

The Graduate School of Management offers scholarships to immediate family members of a 75% FTE or higher career employee working at any of the following campuses: UC Davis’ main campus, the San Ramon campus, and the Sacramento campus (UC Davis Health and Aggie Square).

For Master of Management, if selected the scholarship award is $25,000 total.

UC Native American Opportunity Plan

The University of California Native American Opportunity Plan ensures that in-state systemwide Tuition and Student Services Fees are fully covered for California students in state supported academic programs who are also enrolled in federally recognized Native American, American Indian and Alaska Native tribes. 

The Master of Management program is not state supported. However, the Graduate School of Management has committed to provide an equivalent financial aid program. Eligible MM students will receive at a minimum a combined financial aid scholarship of $14,430 to be allocated over the course of their program. Students must submit the eligibility affidavit and documentation on the UC Davis Financial Aid and Scholarships to confirm eligibility.
