Dominique Jackson

Dominique is a Bay Area native who joined UC Davis in 2015 and now serves as the academic advisor for undergraduate students in the inaugural business major cohort. Prior to joining the GSM, she worked as a case manager in the Office of Student Support and Judicial Affairs, where she helped both undergraduate and graduate students navigate academic, mental health and financial challenges. She also served as an academic advisor in Letters and Science Undergraduate Education and Advising, championing academic planning that promotes successful outcomes and builds self-advocacy skills while honoring the unique combination of experiences and aspirations each student brings.

Dominique first joined UC Davis shortly after completing a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and genetics at the University of Adelaide in Australia. She now returns to campus after earning a Master of Science in plant science and biotechnology at the University of Leeds in England. Away from work, she enjoys yarn crafts, Lego and gardening.
